I asked the Vanguard why they didn’t ask for legitimate news sources and links to support Walter’s allegation that the Moms for Liberty is a fascist organization like they do to others when they post accusations like this? Their response, they deleted my comment.
Well, KO, if one knows they are right, and their enemies are wrong, the voices of the enemy must be silenced (deleted), and the enemy must be de-humanized (judged as evil as Nazis). I like it. It’s time to tune out the naysayers and just get on with it. I’d like to see the same thing go up along the east side of the railroad between 3rd Street and 4th Street. This brings more people downtown, not just students (who I love to death) that will diversify the customer base so that maybe we can start to attract better restaurants, etc.

In regard to places like Elk Grove, the question isn’t “whether or not” its residents “like it”.
The question is, what harm is this pattern of development doing to the region and environment at large? And is it desirable or sustainable to continue along this path?
Especially since this development pattern is still the “norm”.
