TODAY: Showing of new movie by Abby Martin – Earth’s Greatest Enemy

(From press release) The just-released documentary Earth’s Greatest Enemy dramatically details the damage inflicted on the global environment by the U.S. military. The film director and producer, Abby Martin, is an American journalist, television presenter, and activist (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abby_Martin). Short introductory comments on the links between militarism and climate change will be presented by Veterans For Peace volunteers who are participating in the Wake Up to Climate Crisis and NO MAS (NO Military Air Shows) Tour – https://www.veteransforpeace.org/take-action/climatecrisis/wake-climate-crisis-tour   

Free and open to the public!

    Stay tuned to The Davisite, There are plans being discussed to show this film in Davis in February or March of 2026.

      I look forward to the Davis screening! (I have other plans this evening, but the Sac venue is not easily accessible by public transportation).

      By the time of the screening, it would be fun to know what percentage of Davisites own a significant number of shares in military and security companies – I’m sure that the Davis Enterprise would make it a cover story with lots of candid interviews.

    For everyone’s information, Abby Martin is an Israel hater. I don’t mean a critic of Israel, of which I consider myself and every Jew I know to some extent. I mean she is an outright hater. She’s also very smart and media savvy, so she is dangerous. I realize some of you reading this are Israel haters too — I’m not talking to you. I’m talking to everyone else. I see this movie isn’t about Israel. But I wouldn’t trust Abby Martin to report on my local block party.
