The Davisphere is a vibrant, eclectic & electric communal atmosphere where there is entertainment for all ages. The idea was based on the simple premise that positive energy builds when people get together and enjoy themselves. The Davisphere symbolizes community encompassment, vibrancy, the Earth we share, and a place of belonging.

The September 1st musical headliner will be Thunder Cover, an energetic and fun cover band that features pop/rock dance hits over the past six decades. Over a dozen food & beverage vendors will provide a wide variety of offerings – from veggies to meat and savory to sweet, there will be something for everyone! An exceptional atmosphere within itself, The Davisphere’s Beer & Wine Garden will be run by downtown Davis’ own University of Beer featuring craft brews and cider on tap plus local wine. A portion of alcohol sales will benefit a featured Davis nonprofit organization every week.

The 2022 Thursday night event series has been made possible by seed funding provided to Davis Downtown through a City of Davis grant. The grant was awarded to help revitalize the local business community and overall economy as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic. Davis Downtown’s goal is to make the event series financially sustainable for decades to come, and after a shortened inaugural season in 2022 for it to continue to be an active weekly event May through October in subsequent years.

Davis Downtown actively leads and energizes the downtown as the primary business, entertainment, and cultural center of Davis. Alive with activity seven days a week, downtown Davis draws locals and visitors alike to experience fine food and beverages, retail, professional services, arts, and entertainment in an extraordinary and sustainable gathering place.

    See everybody out there!

Is “Noise Violation” a spin-off group from the notorious “Sky Track”? And why isn’t “ Extravagant Toad Tunnels” in the line-up? They rock!
In any case, looks like a fun event!

    Very good Rik.
And later the “DISC Doormats” could perform and then end the night with hits from the “Courtroom Carsons”

“Killing Fletcher” plays right after “WDAAC Whities”
